Punxsutawney Phil’s stump at Gobbler’s Knob

This is Punxsutawney Phil’s stump at Gobbler’s Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. On Groundhog Day, Phil is placed inside the ceremonial stump, from which he then emerges to give his annual weather prediction. 

During the rest of the year, Phil resides at Phil’s Burrow at the Punxsutawney Library.
