Groundhog Day sequel coming in the form of Virtual Reality game

Sony recently announced that a sort of sequel to the classic 1993 film Groundhog Day is coming with Groundhog Day: Like Father Like Son, a VR game to be released later this year.

The game will be centered around Phil Connors Jr., son of Bill Murray and presumably Andie MacDowell’s characters from the film. Phil Jr. will be forced to repeat Groundhog Day, until he learns the true value of friends and family, just like his father.

You’ll be able to get the game on PlayStation Virtual Reality and other major VR platforms. Guess I’m going to have to get a VR system!
