Well it’s not looking good for an early spring.
A few predictions have already been made this Groundhog Day weekend, a day before the official holiday.
Both Uni the Groundhog (taxidermied) and Shipoke Sheena (dog) predicted a long winter during their respective ceremonies early Saturday.

Add those two predictions to last weekend’s prognostication by Buffalo Bert, and it seems like we might have to endure 6 more weeks of winter.
Of course there are still many groundhogs and other animals that have yet to make their predictions. The vast majority will let us know what they think about the remainder of the winter tomorrow, on the actual holiday.
As always, you can keep up to date on all of the Groundhog Day predictions for 2020 on our Groundhog Day tracker.
