Groundhog Day occurs in 58 days!

58 days until Groundhog Day! Yesterday I said that the first Groundhog Day celebration was held in 1887 in Punxsutawney, but now I’m seeing a lot of sources saying that it was actually 1886 but that his prediction wasn’t recorded anywhere. So it looks like first celebration was 1886, first recorded prediction was 1887. Whatever the case, let’s just say Punxustawney Phil has been predicting the weather for a really long time and is really old.[]
