Looks like Early Spring is the winner for Groundhog Day 2022
Just like last year, Punxsutawney Phil predicted “6 more weeks of winter” this Groundhog Day, but, as per usual, that’s not the whole story. Many other prognosticators also provided forecasts this year.
We once again collected all of the prognostications that we could find, and put them together on our Groundhog Day 2022 predictions page.
As of this writing we’ve found 80 Groundhog Day forecasts, and, of those forecasts, 61.25% were for Early Spring, while only 38.75% call for 6 more weeks of Winter.
Although there may be some predictions that we haven’t come across yet, and a few will be happening this weekend, it’s unlikely that those predictions will change the overall prediction of Early Spring. Nevertheless we’ll continue to update our predictions page as soon as any new data comes in.
