Groundhog Day: Like Father Like Son gets release date

The virtual reality “sequel” to Groundhog Day, Groundhog Day: Like Father Like Son, finally has a release date.

The VR game, which allows the player to assume the role of Phil Connors Jr., the son of Bill Murray’s Phil Connors, will launch worldwide on September 17th, 2019. You’ll be able to get GD: Like Father Like Son on Sony Playstation VR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive.

A new gameplay trailer is also availble to view.

We’ve been waiting for a release date since the project was announced on Groundhog Day earlier in the year, so it’s good to know we’re less than a month away from being able to play the game. We here at Countdown to Groundhog Day didn’t have a VR headset in February, but we do now, so we’re super excited to check out the game.
