In front of the Wendy’s in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, is one of the newest Phantastic Phil statues, decorated to resemble the fast food restaurant chain’s iconic namesake and mascot, Wendy.
The statue, which is actually named Old-Fashioned Phyllis after Phil’s wife, has the classic red pig-tails that Wendy sports in the restaurant’s logo, as well as a similar shirt. The logo was created to resemble Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas’ daughter Wendy Thomas.
This statue is the 40th Phantastic Phil, and was created by artist Kelly Porada, with help from her husband Chris Porada, and unveiled in 2022.
The statue also has a spatula so that she can flip burgers.
The next time you’re in Punxsutawney, you can visit Old-Fashioned Phyllis and also get a tasty meal at Wendy’s which is located at 212 Hampton Avenue.
