Phantastic Phil: “Breakfast Sounds Good”

Are you hungry for bacon and eggs? Pancakes? Waffles? Would you say ‘breakfast sounds good’? Then you’d love the Phantastic Phil with the NAME Breakfast Sounds Good that stands outside Gimmicks Restaurant in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.

This statue is dressed like a chef, including wearing a chef’s hat with “KISS THE CHEF” written on it, and is holding a menu, as well as a “guitar” comprised of a fried egg, strip of bacon, and piece of toast. It stands atop a stack of pancakes.

Breakfast Sounds Good was created by artist, Yvette Carrano and is Phantastic Phil #31.

You can visit this Phil at Gimmicks, which is located at 208 Ridge Avenue, and maybe get yourself some pancakes, as long as it’s not too early for flapjacks.
