Phantastic Phil: “Through the Eyes of Pizzeria Phil”
If you want some ‘za while you’re in Punxsutawney, Through the Eyes of Pizzeria Phil is the Phantastic Phil that you should see.
Created by Kelly Porada, this Phil is decorated to resemble a pizza chef. Porada is the artist behind many of the other Phantastic Phils, including the first Phil, Phillage, and as of this writing, the most recent, Old-Fashioned Phyllis.
Through the Eyes of Pizzeria Phil wears a chef’s hat, an apron covered with old-fashioned postcards of Punxsutawney, and holds a pizza pie.
This statue is the eleventh Phantastic Phil and can be found in front of Laska’s Pizza at 405 South Main Street.
