If you’re a student at Punxsutawney Area High School, you have the good fortune of being greeted by an inspiring Phantastic Phil when you arrive each day.

This Phil, named Oh The Places Phil Will Go (or possibly Oh The Places We Will Go), is Phantastic Phil #29 and was created under the direction of Nancy Inman, an art teacher at the school.

Oh The Places Phil Will Go has a number of designs on it, combined from ideas submitted by each art student at the school.

The designs on this statue depict varying aspects of student life and the community. These include a painting of the high school itself, people skiing and playing golf, a stack of books, and students performing in the school’s auditorium.
