Outside the Punxsutawney Memorial Library, stands the Phantastic Phil that started it all: Phillage.

Phillage was painted by Kelly Porada and made its debut on Groundhog Day 2004. Porada, a local artist, is responsible for decorating many of the other Phantastic Phils, including Old-Fashioned Phyllis.

This statue was sponsored by the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club.

Phillage wears a top hat and tuxedo to resemble the members of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club Inner Circle. The top hat makes the statue 7 feet tall.

The Punxsutawney Memorial Library is the home of Punxsutawney Phil and his wife Phyllis, so after you visit Phillage, you can visit the groundhog who inspired him.
