Groundhog Day forecasters overwhelmingly predict early spring for 2024

Although we’re still tracking down some predictions, and a few more are yet to come today, it seems safe to declare that the vast majority of Groundhog Day forecasters are calling for an early spring.

As of this writing, we’ve collected 93 prognostications. Of those 93 forecasts, 72 are for an early spring (77.42%) versus 21 for winter (22.58%).

For those of us who are looking forward to an early spring, this is great news.
