T-Boy (also sometimes known as Tiboy) the Nutria was a nutria who provided weather predictions on Groundhog Day at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, Louisiana, from at least the mid-1990s to 2019.
When T-Boy emerged from his den on Groundhog Day he would look for his shadow. If T-Boy saw his shadow, that would indicate a long winter. Otherwise, there would be an early spring.
T-Boy sometimes appeared with his own miniature Mardi Gras float or was lured out of his den by Mardi Gras beads and doubloons.
There were several T-Boys over the years.
T-Boy was replaced by Parish, another nutria.
