Harleysville Hank
Since 2016, a stuffed groundhog plushie named Harleysville Hank has been predicting the weather on Groundhog Day at the Mennonite Heritage Center in Harleysville, Pennsylvania.
When Hank makes his appearance, he looks for his shadow. If he see it, there will be a long winter. Otherwise, there will be an early spring.
Live music is played during the festivities.
Free hot chocolate, coffee, and breakfast foods such as scrapple is provided before the event.
Several hundred people usually show up for Hank's celebration.
