Wanda

Wanda was a groundhog at the Milwaukee County Zoo, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who provided Groundhog Day predictions during the late 1990s and early 2000s.

On Groundhog Day, Wanda would look for her shadow. If she saw it, that would indicate that there would be a long winter. If Wanda failed to see her shadow, that indicated that spring was on its way.
