Waldo

Waldo was a groundhog who provided at least one Groundhog Day prediction in the early 1990s at the Milwaukee County Zoo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Waldo's prediction was based on whether he saw his shadow (long winter) or not (early spring).
