Tater (full name Potato) is a groundhog ambassador at Chimney Rock State Park who provided a prediction on Groundhog Day 2025 at Tryon International, in Mill Spring, North Caroline, while Chimney Rock State Park was closed due to the effects of Hurricane Helene.

Tater's prediction was based on whether he saw his shadow or not.

In 2024, Tater provided a prediction with another ambassador, Yam (Yammy).
