Okanagan Okie

Okanagan Okie is the resident "Marmot mascot stuffy" at Allan Brooks Nature Centre, in Vernon, British Columbia, who provided a Groundhog Day weather prediction from 2022 to 2024.

During Okie's Groundhog Day appearance, Okie would look for his shadow. If Okie saw his shadow, that meant there would be a long winter. If Okie did not see his shadow, there would be an early spring.

Okie the stuffy was replaced by Okie the Mascot in 2025.
