MT Parker

MT Parker is a plush groundhog who has been providing a Groundhog Day prediction for the Manheim Township Recreation and Park's Department in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, since 2021.

During his annual Groundhog Day event, if MT Parker sees his shadow, that means there will be six more weeks of winter. If MT Parker fails to see his shadow, there will be an early spring.

MT Parker's event is held at the Carriage House at Stauffer Mansion.

Besides the prediction there is often live music, arts and crafts, and refreshments such as hot chocolate and cookies.
