Hudson the Polar Bear

Hudson is a polar bear who provided a Groundhog Day prediction at the Toronto Zoo in Toronto, Ontario, in 2026.

On Groundhog Day, snacks were placed underneath two markers for Hudson. One said "Late Winter" and the other said "Early Spring." Whichever one Hudson knocked over indicated his prediction for the remainder of the season.

On Groundhog Day 2025 prediction, a different polar bear named Juno provided the prediction.
