Herman

Herman was a Vancouver Island Marmot who provided a Groundhog Day prediction at the Toronto Zoo in Toronto, Ontario, in 2011.

On Groundhog Day, Herman was presented with two different signs. One said "Early Spring" and the other said "Six More Weeks of Winter." The signs each had an equal amount of treats in front of them. Whichever one Herman snacked from first indicated his prediction for that winter's weather.
