Jessup Giuseppe

Jessup Giuseppe is a magical prognosticating ferret who made his first Groundhog Day prediction at the inaugural Jessup Groundhog Day event in Jessup, Pennsylvania, during the Groundhog Day 2026 season.

During his Groundhog Day appearance, Giuseppe comes out of his wine barrel and is presented with green grapes and purple grapes. If he chooses the purple grapes, there will be a long winter. If he chooses the white grapes, there will be an early spring.
