Velda the Hedgehog

Velda is an African pygmy hedgehog who provided a Groundhog Day prediction at the Oregon Zoo in Portland, Oregon, in 2016.

Velda's prediction was based on whether or not she saw her shadow.

Velda is one of several hedgehogs who have provided predictions at the Oregon Zoo over the years. Before Velda there was Whiskers J. and after Velda was Fufu.
