Tater the Hedgehog

Tater was an African pygmy hedgehog who provided predictions on Hedgehog Day at the Kansas City Zoo in Kansas City, Missouri, in the late 2010s. Hedgehog Day, like Groundhog Day, takes place on February 2nd.

If Tater saw his shadow during his annual Hedgehog Day appearance, that would mean there would be a long winter. If Tater failed to see his shadow, spring was right around the corner.
