Every Duck Day (February 2nd), Scramble the Duck provides a weather prediction at 7:30 AM in front of the Ivy Glenn Building in Eastford, Connecticut. During the Duck Day ceremony, Scramble comes out of his house, and if he sees his shadow there will be six more weeks of winter, if not there will be an early spring. The original Scramble sadly passed away in late 2021, and was replaced by his offspring, Scramble the Duck Jr., beginning in 2022.
