Lawrentawney Will

Lawrentawney Will is a prairie dog from the Parks and Recreation department in Lawrence, Kansas, who provided a Groundhog Day prediction in 2018.

On Groundhog Day, Lawrentawney Will was provided with two dishes of treats. One was associated with winter and the other with spring, and whichever Will ate from first indicated his prediction for the remainder of the season.
