Chicago Harry

Chicago Harry is a groundhog who provides a weather prediction on Groundhog Day, at Harry Caray's Tavern on Navy Pier, in Chicago.

Harry Caray's has been putting on a tribute to Harold Ramis (who was a partner in the restaurant) and Groundhog Day, since 2024, and Harry's prediction is part of that celebration.

If Harry sees his shadow during his appearance, there will be six more weeks of winter. If he does not see his shadow, there will be an early spring.

During the first event, which was attended by multiple cast members from the movie - including Bill Murray - February 2nd was declared "Harold Ramis Day" by the city of Chicago.

The name "Chicago Harry" is a reference to both the famous sportscaster Harry Caray, who the restaurant group is named after, and Harold Rammis.
