Winnipeg Willow

Winnipeg Willow was a groundhog who provided Groundhog Day prognostications for the Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, from 2012 until 2016.

During her annual Groundhog Day appearance, Willow would look for her shadow. If she spotted it, there would be a long winter. If not, there would be an early spring.

Winnipeg Willow passed away just days before Groundhog Day 2016 and was replaced by Winnipeg Wyn.
